Angry Ex-Con Wanted For Shooting Mom 5X Picking Up Infant Daughter In Spotsy: Cops

A woman on her way to pick up her infant daughter at a relative's house was struck by gunshots fired by the relative's ex-con husband in Spotsylvania, now wanted on multiple charges, authorities said.

Christopher David Williams was arguing with the 35-year-old woman on N. Danford Street in the Fox Point Subdivision, Wednesday night, Nov. 1, over the man she was with, in regards to him not being welcome in the home, the Spotsylvania Sheriff’s Office said.

The woman was on her way to pick up her infant daughter, and moments after the argument with Williams, shots were fired into the vehicle, the sheriff's office said.

The woman was struck five times in her lower body and taken to the hospital by the driver, authorities said.

Williams was identified as a suspect and is wanted on charges of aggravated malicious wounding, attempted aggravated malicious, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of ammunition by a convicted felon, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, and shooting into an occupied vehicle. 

It was not immediately clear what Williams' previous convictions are. He is considered armed and dangerous, police said.
